If you get a vote, I really hope you'll use it differently. Ovechkin's great, trust me, I hear it all the damn time, but the Caps aren't going anywhere, so what's it worth? If Hank takes the Blueshirts marching through the playoffs, well then, THAT, my friend, is a hell of a performance from a rookie. And YAY Petr with one E!

It's not Most valuable player, it's rookie of the year. Ovechkin is clearly the best.

Well now... My dear Henrik is number 2 in the league (not among rookies, the whole bloomin' league) in GAA, and number 4 in save percentage. The new rules are beating the crap out of goalies. Ovechkin's got a lot of goals but the new NHL is a goal-scorers game. So, I lean toward the goalie. Plus Henrik's cuter.
